We love advertising and the power it has to increase brand awareness, use storytelling and tap into the buyer psyche. We’ve seen our clients make millions of dollars off our work from digital advertising to television spots.
As marketing plans & strategies are being put together to spread the word about your brand and discovering what your prospects need to move the needle to work with your brand, here are 5 principles that will help you navigate as you're sitting with potential companies to hire and create the content.
Tip #1 - Establish Relevance with your Target Audience.
People do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care. Relevancy is all about staying relevant to your audience. Love them or hate them, The Kardashians have been wildly successful due to their relevance. Their early adoption to a new shift in media consumption and a willingness to put themselves out there in ways many brands have been very slow to were the key to their success. Leveraging platforms like social media, their wildly successful tv show, and willingness to try new opportunities have made them into the hit they are today.
Tip #2 - Establish Uniqueness from your Competition.
How are you different from your competitors? What is that competitive edge that you bring to the table? Are you providing an innovative product that is eco-friendly? Is your location pristine & customer service immaculate? Do you pride yourself on low pricing to service all? Making it very clear with who you are and what sets you apart makes it easier to distinguish your brand as you advertise.
Tip #3 - Prove Credibility Through Product Characteristics or Use.
Show other people raving and talking about your product and the results it's helped them to get. Show people results or better yet show people having an emotional positive connection with your brand. There is nothing like 3rd party validation to help solidify your results and impact your brand can have on a prospective buyer.
Tip #4 - Execute Through Relevant Touch Points

What can you add to the consumer's knowledge that they did not already know? In 2017, I met the brand ambassador for Joe Malone, the perfume product. He educated me through the whole process of what sets them apart and how their perfume is so unique, while letting my senses experience the brand. I have since then considered myself a brand ambassador telling many other friends about this brand and how it changed my life. This can be your brand too. How has your brand impacted someone's life? Consumers love hearing and experiencing brands especially when it is something unique and engaging. It leaves a lasting impact. How are you educating, speaking to the consumer senses and building a loyal following.
Tip #5 - Execute Through Relevant Touch Points in Your Advertising
Any time a person comes in contact with your brand: before, during and after they purchase something from you, you will need to create a relevant touch point. Strong touch points are key to staying top of mind.
